CM 201-U Superintendent Dr. Kara and Asst. Superintendent Dr. Rochelle Clark visited schools across the district on Tuesday, October 22, in honor of Mix it Up Day! From Monee Elementary School's "Learn Some S'more About Each Other" activity, complete with a campfire, to CSK students' conversation about Mem Fox's "Whoever You Are" book, schools throughout the district spent the day dialoguing and mixing it up! "We are fully committed to continuing to teach our children about tolerance and diversity. It is necessary if we expect them to possess critical soft skills such as empathy and collaboration," Dr. Kara said.
